Slow Weekends

Lately my favorite kind of weekend has been the boring kind, no plans, no deadlines, just painting something random or getting lost in whatever fantasy book I'm reading at the time. Between work, school, and everything else going on, I've started protecting that unstructured time more than I used to. It's not really about being productive with my hobbies either, some days I paint something and immediately don't like it, and that's fine. It's less about the result and more about giving my brain a break from constantly producing something for someone else.
